Hand-me-downs

Enjoy 2010 while you can... I thought 2008-2009 was a bad year for film but 2011 sounds even worse. A FOURTH Pirates of the Caribbean? Didn't they bury that series with the third mediocre finale? I guess not. Everywhere execs are quivering in their boots on what projects to keep on their future project slate as they buckle under financial pressures from investors. Even classics such as 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea have sunk to the bottom, brushed aside for the security of a carbon copy superhero. I'm crossing my fingers that Alice in Wonderland, Robin Hood, and Iron Man 2 are as good as they look to be.

2011 (aka the year of the Re-run) looks to be a cotton candy year, tastes good for a few seconds but leaves you feeling sick and empty in the end.

Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom (2)
The Hangover 2
Cars 2: World Grand Prix
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2
